New Base/Link Beta Firmware available
Hi,
A new Beta firmware is now availabe for the Base/Link Media Server product range. This is a small but useful update, offering:
New Features:
Setting up of 'Monitored Network Folders' is now a lot easier. No more typing in of network addresses. Now all shares/PCs on the network are visible and selectable with a couple of button presses, for instant configuration.
Picture browsing now supports Mac folders located on the network.
A new Setting exists under Settings->Visual Settings->GUI F/X Level. Adjusting this affects the amount of on-screen 'special effects' that are applied, and may make browsing quicker on certain units, depending on the hardware, and amount of media being served.
Bug Fixes:
Addition of a single track to a playlist is now fixed.
A recently created bug from the previous Beta release has been fixed, that was causing the TV interface to crash after finishing playback of a track from an inserted CD.
